Open your Chrome browser and navigate to chromecast.com/setup. Now, click the download button to get Chromecast DMG, then install the Chromecast setup software for Mac. Remember to accept the licencing conditions before clicking the "Accept" button. The software will search for available Chromecast devices connected to the network as soon as you click the ‘Accept' button. Switch your Mac's Wi-Fi network to 2.4 GHz mode instead of 5 GHz or mixed if Google Chromecast isn't connecting to WiFi. By pressing the ‘Set Up' button, you may now configure the device. You must first click the setup option next to your Chromecast, then choose your country from the selection box.
